In order to maintain my integrity, I consulted the oracle (ARRI website) and confirmed the information that Kevin had was indeed supported. I won't pusue this any further simply because I don't have the time and the point is moot. However, I do indeed know that the information i had was from a reputable source, I just can't confirm that fact. I'll keep an eye out for it though.

I find it fascinating how people back in the early 1900's did it. We are so spoiled with our technology that I wonder if any one of us could have been film makers back then.
